Thanks for stopping by. I am an applied statistician and co-founder and CEO of Generable. My life has been connected to software since I was a 12-year-old kid in Riga, Latvia (USSR) when my stepfather, Dimitry Krupnikov, brought home a Soviet PC clone. I discovered how to manage uncertainty by trading options in 2005, thanks to Tom Sosnoff and the gang at Thinkorswim. I was introduced to Statistics in 2007, thanks to my friend and statistics professor Robert Stinerock. More recently, I learned how to think about statistics from Andrew Gelman and the amazing Stan team. I have been involved in Startups since 2010, thanks to Owen Davis, Alex Iskold, and many others. I have three kids whom I love very much even though I tell other people that desire for offspring is nature’s trick. I live in Brooklyn with my wife Jacki, who saved my life once and continues doing so every day. My LinkedIn profile has some seriously boring stuff on it.
